There will be no actual Parish Council meetings until further notice. Online meetings of the Parish Council using Zoom are taking place. Details are on the agenda page. Minutes will be posted on the minutes page when they are approved.The next meeting will be September 2nd

Food delivery

Food distributor Westcountry Fruit Sales is offering next day delivery. They provide a full range of fresh produce, fruit boxes, milk & dairy, kitchen groceries, cleaning products, wines and beers to the door and operate a no contact delivery.

Orders can be phoned through to 01326 331900 Mon to Fri, 9am to 4pm or emailed to hello@bulkbuygroceries.co.uk There is a £50 minimum order with a £6 delivery.

Help locally

There are various local initiatives which are being set up to help and to offer help. Offers of help very locally for near neighbours might be better than trying to set up something which is parish wide. COVID 19 Mutual Aid groups are springing up all over the place. Below is a link to a help card. If you are offering help to those self isolating in your neighbourhood you can print the card out and fill it in with your details and pop it through your neighbours’ letterboxes. It’s a pdf document and designed to be printed double-sided. 2 to an A4 page

Totnes Caring has suspended all planned public events and Clubs.They will post more information as the situation changes but are providing vital services to those that need them most.

The majority of TC staff are working from home and are able to answer phones (Tel. 01803 865684) and deal with queries.
